Care to help a person perform ADLs and other routine activities; also known as personal care. It is usually provided by people without professional medical skills. It is less intensive or complicated than skilled or intermediate nursing care, and can be provided in many settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, adult day care centers, or at home.
